Jessica Simpson
Jessica Simpson is an American pop star, television star, actress and fashion entrepreneur. Born in 1980 in Texas, Simpson made her initial success in the gospel circuit, but her biggest success would come as a pop star during the late 1990s boom of teen pop in the recording industry.
Simpson entered the perfume world in 2004, partnering with the founder of the Clean line, Randi Shinder, to produce a line of edible lip glosses, perfumes and cosmetics called Dessert Beauty and aimed at a young market.
Simpson partnered with Parlux fragrances in 2008 to launch a more mature perfume, Fancy, whose success has spawned multiple flankers. The earliest edition was created in 2004 and the newest is from 2015.
